How Much Do Cavoodles Cost in Australia

Cavoodles are a great pet to have at home and incredibly desirable due to their temperament.

However, a designer dog is not without a price tag, so how much do Cavoodles cost in Australia?

Designer breeds at designer prices

As they are considered a designer breed, how much Cavoodles cost in Australia can vary. However, as a first-time buyer, you should know that it’s not going to be cheap. On average, Cavoodles will run anywhere from $1500 to $2500 AUD, depending on a number of different factors.

How much a Cavoodle costs vary with the dog

Many factors go into determining how much Cavoodles cost, such as the gender of the puppy, the coat, and even the overall size. Toy Cavoodles and Mini Cavoodles will be two different prices, and within those breeds, males and females generally differ in cost as well. There is also the physical traits to keep in mind, all of which have a bearing on the final price of the puppy.

Breeder availability also affects the price

If you’re in a place like Victoria, where Cavoodle breeders are common, prices will be a bit lower. This is due to competition between breeders, all trying to sell puppies. Beware of puppy mills, which may have prices that are too good to be true. You run the risk of getting a mix that isn’t a pure Cavoodle.

Make sure you’re getting what you paid for

Breeders have a responsibility to ensure that the dog you are getting is up to standard. Vaccinations and chips are just two of the requirements that dogs need to have before they can be released, and of course, these things cost money. Such requirements may add into the overall cost of the Cavoodle.

This is why it’s important to look for a reputable breeder. Breeders operating without a license, or have many different breeds of dogs for sale are huge red flags. Research will help immensely when choosing a Cavoodle breeder. Make sure that you’re informed on the laws in your area before you buy!

Is the cost worth it?

Absolutely! Cavoodles are wonderful bundles of love and happiness, and are worth every penny! First-time owners and long time Cavoodle enthusiasts agree; Cavoodles are the best dogs to own! They’re great family dogs, work well with most any dynamic, and can be trained for a number of tasks.
