Is the Price of a Mini Goldendoodle Worth it?

Are you planning to become a Mini Goldendoodle owner in the nearest future?
In fact, there are so many reasons to fall in love with this fascinating breed.

Their playful, funny and friendly nature has made these dogs so popular. But are the Mini Goldendoodles really worth the money? Let’s dig deeper to find out what factors may influence the price of your Mini Goldendoodle.

1. The quality of the parent dogs

The main goal of reputable breeders is to produce healthy Mini Goldendoodle puppies with great personality traits. That’s why breeders use purebred Poodles and Golden Retrievers that have breeding rights. And these dogs can be extremely expensive.

2. Genetic testing for breeding dogs

Responsible breeders test their breeding stock on a regular basis. Genetic testing can reveal a great number of hereditary conditions. DNA testing helps breeders determine which dogs to breed in order to produce puppies with some specific traits. Breeders do all these tests at their own expense. Reputable breeders are always ready to show the results of all tests they have performed. So, you will have no doubts that you buy a healthy puppy without inherited diseases.

3. Health guarantees for Mini Goldendoodle puppies

Reliable breeders make sure that their puppies get at least the first round of vaccinations before they are taken to a new home. The number of recommended vaccines may differ. Standard vaccines usually include:

  • Distemper
  • Parainfluenza
  • Adenovirus
  • Parvovirus

Puppies usually receive deworming medications and are checked out by a veterinarian. After that, puppies get health certificates.

4. Mini Goldendoodle puppy care

Breeders spend a lot of time caring about the puppies. Reputable breeders work hard to make sure that their puppies are raised in a well-kept environment. In order to keep their breeding licenses, breeders need to pass inspections. The requirements for passing the inspections include:

  • Shelter
  • Space
  • Lighting
  • Ventilation
  • Flooring
  • Pest control
  • Sanitation

As you can see, it is really expensive to produce a healthy Mini Goldendoodle puppy.

5. Why a Mini Goldendoodle is worth paying for

Mini Goldendoodles are not just excellent family dogs. They have also been successfully used as service dogs, search and rescue dogs and therapy dogs. Mini Goldendoodles are great companions for visually impaired people and people suffering from autism. There are many other fun facts about the Mini Goldendoodles. If you want to be sure that your puppy is healthy, buy it from a reputable breeder. However, this puppy will have a higher price tag.

6. Why buying a cheap Mini Goldendoodle puppy is not a very good idea

There are many websites that offer adorable Mini Goldendoodle puppies, but provide no genetic tests or health screenings for their breeding dogs. Obviously, these puppies are much cheaper.

Cheap puppies should be questioned because there is a good chance that the Mini Goldendoodle puppies were not bred the way they had to. It’s possible that cheap Mini Goldendoodles have a poor lineage and may even have some serious health problems in the future. Puppies from highly reputable breeders are more expensive. But you will get what you pay for.

If you choose a Mini Goldendoodle puppy whose parents have been thoroughly tested, you can be sure that you get a healthy pet that will become your closest friend and spend many happy years with you.
The Mini Goldendoodles are fantastic pets which are worth the price.
