The Best Dog Parks in New South Wales for Your Cavoodle

Last Updated on October 9, 2026

If you live in New South Wales, you might be surprised how many dog parks are on your doorstep. Grab your Cavoodle and head out to one of these.

Off-lead rules can vary between councils, so check the signage when you arrive.

Burrell Road Dog Park

This is a lovely little dog park for your Cavoodle. As NSW parks go it is on the smaller side, but there is still plenty of room to run and play. Have a game of fetch, set up a few obstacles, or just let your pup socialise with the other dogs. There is enough walking space to comfortably tire your Cavoodle out.

Dan Mahoney Reserve

If you want a big open space to run your Cavoodle, this is the one. Dan Mahoney Reserve is spacious and perfect for a good run around. It gets a fair bit of traffic like Burrell Road, but it is much larger, so there is more room for every dog.

Greenway Dog Park

This fenced park lets your Cavoodle off the lead safely. It is a good idea to keep half an eye on them, but there are plenty of dogs to play with and friendly owners to chat to. There are water fountains for a thirsty pup on hot days, though it does not offer much shade, which is the only real downside.

Westleigh Dog Park

Another large, busy park, Westleigh has benches and shade for when you need a sit down, and plenty of space to run. It is a bit busier than some others on this list, but rarely so crowded that it feels cramped. There are usually plenty of dogs and often a few stray toys, so make sure your Cavoodle knows how to share.

Purdue Park

For a park that is both big and beautiful, Purdue is hard to beat. It is one of the prettier parks in NSW, with plenty of trees for shade and benches to sit on, and the friendly locals make a walk here a pleasure. Bring some toys and water, because you will probably want to stay a while.

New South Wales has plenty of dog parks, each with its own character. Take your Cavoodle out and let them meet some new dogs and new people.
