There is nothing like hitting the beach on a hot summer day, and your Cavoodle will love coming along for the fun in the sun.
Cavoodles tend to love the water and are usually good little swimmers. Give them a chance to play on the sand or chase the waves and they will have a ball. Logans Beach
Best known for whale watching in winter, Logans Beach in Warrnambool is also a lovely spot to enjoy with your Cavoodle. Dogs can go off-lead along the long stretch of sand. Just take care letting your dog into the water unsupervised, as the tides here can be strong.
Brighton Dog Beach
Sandown Street Beach, better known as Brighton Dog Beach, is a lovely dog beach in the Bayside area. The low waves make it perfect for pups that enjoy a paddle. Dogs can play off-lead along the whole beach, but keep an eye on yours, since it is a popular spot and easy to lose track of a small dog in the crowd.
Paradise Beach
On the western side of Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park, Paradise Beach lives up to its name. This hidden gem offers warm, calm, turquoise water and beautiful views, and it is dog-friendly year round. It is the perfect place to simply relax in the company of your furry friend.
Mentone Beach
Mentone is a small, blissful beach in Melbourne that is easy to reach and easy to love. Dogs are welcome year round on the western stretch between Charman Road and Plummer Road, and seasonally on the sections towards Parkdale. Do check the signage, since dogs must be on the lead once you leave the dog-friendly area.
White Beach, Torquay
Torquay is surf country, and it has several dog-friendly spots for your Cavoodle to enjoy the sun. White Beach is a 24-hour off-lead area and even has dog waste bags on hand if you have forgotten yours. Torquay and Jan Juc have other areas with seasonal rules, but White Beach is easily the most popular with dogs and their owners.
