The Best Dog Parks in Tasmania for Your Cavoodle

Tasmania is full of beautiful dog-friendly parks for your Cavoodle to enjoy. Which of these is closest to you?

Off-lead rules can vary from park to park, so check the signage when you arrive.

Lymington Dog Park

Lymington is one of many lovely dog parks in Tasmania, with a great view of the water and plenty of sandy beach to walk along. If you and your Cavoodle like room to roam, it is hard to beat. The ocean outlook is the big drawcard, so it can get a touch busy at peak times, but otherwise it is a fantastic spot for the whole family, dog included.

South Street Reserve

South Street Reserve is a great choice if you want a bit of shoreline with your walk. It is ideal for fresh air and plenty of other dogs for your Cavoodle to socialise with, which is perfect for keeping them happy. You can let your dog off the lead here too, just make sure they play nicely with others before you do it for the first time.

St Leonards Dog Park

This lovely little park is perfect for a Cavoodle, with a cute river your pup will love to splash through. There are trees for shade and plenty of grassy areas to run and play. It does not take long to walk through, but the pretty scenery will have you doing a lap or two more than you planned.

Heron Street Dog Park

This park has large green spaces, which is every Cavoodle's dream. Your pup can run to their heart's content while you chat to other dog owners, and the whole thing turns into one big social event. The best part is the open space, so your Cavoodle can run around off the lead, chase a stick and generally let loose.

Nutgrove Beach

Regulars reckon Nutgrove is one of the best spots in Tasmania to take your dog, thanks to the gorgeous shoreline, the open space and all the other dogs to meet. Cavoodles love the lot of it. It is an off-lead area, so your pup can have a swim in the ocean or just relax on the sand. A great spot for a day out.

There are plenty of fantastic parks in Tasmania once you know where to look. With so much on offer for your Cavoodle, the hard part will be visiting just one.
